From grapes to wine (red)
From white grapes to black grapes, the main difference is in the skin! Indeed, all the tannins and red dyes are located in the skin while the juice is colorless.
So, to make a classic red wine, we let the skin and the juice macerate together for a period of one to four weeks. Once the extraction is complete, we obtain a red wine rich in tannins.
